Exhibited at the Macadam Gallery in 2019, this sculpture questions the impact of social media, which shapes our behavior by imposing a singular way of thinking and diminishing our ability to reflect freely.
Designed to keep us constantly connected, these platforms create a dependence akin to servitude.
By offering the illusion of permanent access to others, they prevent us from accepting absence, fostering a regressive narcissism focused on the pursuit of validation. This oppressive dynamic, amplified by a lack of recognition, distances us from introspective and enriching practices like reading or discovery, ultimately limiting our freedom to think independently.
