The 5 ton installation depicts a young woman holding a delicate hop shoot sprouting in her hand. "She knows how fragile the plant is – and how much effort is required for it to grow.

Hops are not only incredibly valuable to brewers; they also exemplify humanity's responsibility for preserving our environment and its resources," also named "Mother Earth," the sculpture take the shapes of Lucie’s mother and partner Anne Laure and establish an interesting dialogue with another sculpture from Mesguich which is “La magie de Lucie”.
